My name is Marysue Young. I am a muralist, faux finisher and color consultant.  I founded my central New Jersey based business Decorative Painting by Marysue in 1991. Since then I have served the residential home owner as well as the commercial business owner throughout New Jersey and parts of New York.  I attribute the success of my business to my professional training and my innate sense of color, design and texture.



Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to accomplish a vast variety of projects. No job is too big or too small. All my work is custom designed to suit individual needs.

The process begins with an in-home/on-site consultation where the project is discussed in depth. Color options and texture choices for faux finish and art design are covered in minute detail. For faux finishing, actual samples are provided. During the color consultation an indepth analysis of the room elements will be provided in order to obtain just the right color choice.
